Men ought always to pray, and not to faint.

Father You have blessed America indeed but the more You bless, the more with make idols our of Your blessings. I don’t know if we are attempting to deceive You, which would be in vain, or if we are simply deceiving ourselves. We should be looking to YOU for leadership and not to political figures. Our salvation is not in Washington: matter of fact, Washington may be the root of our destruction. We have lost many freedoms as it is and they are clamoring for more. Things that were once highly valued and even cherished are not spit upon by the very people who should be conserving them. A day is coming when we will bow our heads in shame. We have been free for more than two centuries but we have misused and abused our freedom and now in danger of losing our freedom altogether. The yoke of bondage is coming, we can already feel its weight on our necks.
Oh that our Nation would repent, that we would sow seeds of goodness instead of evil; that we could look forward to a harvest instead of a judgment. Father break up the hardness of our hearts like a farmer breaks the soil. Rain down Your mercy and grace, let it fall on us, penetrate and soften our obstainance. We have sown evil and we are reaping a harvest of trouble. We have eaten the fruit of lies and drank the wine of propaganda. Wake us up Father, make us realize that when judgment begins, no one will be spared. Its misery will touch us all. Give us REVIVAL LORD, it is our only hope. In Jesus name we pray. Amen!
Father I give you thanks for all my Christian friends who love and encourage me in Christ. I pray that they will continue to grow in grace and knowledge of the LORD Jesus Christ. Thank You for the love of Jesus that I see in them. I pray that they will continue to be strong in the power of the LORD and that their hope might be stedfast and sure. I thank You for loving them and I know they love You. I know You have chosen them to spread the gospel to the world and I pray for their utmost success in this enterprize. I pray that your grace will overwhelm them to such an extent that their trials and tribulations will only make them stronger and give them deeper joy. I pray for You to fill them with the power of the Holy Spirit. I pray that You will give them patience as they await the return of our blessed LORD and only Savior, the LORD Jesus Christ who is our eternal hope and salvation. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen!

Father, thank You for choosing us and for loving us unconditionally in Christ. You have shown us mercy and we thank You. Help us to be kind, humble, gentle and patient with others just as You have been with us. When we are offended, help us to forgive. When we offend, help us to repent and make things right. We know that love is the most important part of our new life in Christ. It is the bond of unity; it is the glue that holds things together. Mold us into one body and let us always be thankful. Let the word of Christ endwell us and give us courage, wisdom and faith. Father grant that everything we say or do brings glory and honor to Jesus Christ Your Son and our Savior. If we don’t do anything else, let us always be thankful for what Jesus has done in our behalf.
