Hebrews 13

Father, we bow before You in humble adoration; You are the righteous Judge, the infinite giver of both law and grace. You are the faithful One who keeps all promises and incapable of telling a lie. You are a helper to the helpless; our grace provider, our source of peace and our great Shepherd. We praise You for Jesus who suffered humiliation and disgrace in our place. He bore our guilt and shame so that we would not have to. He even ratified the covenant of grace with His own blood and made it legal and possible for us to go to heaven. We do praise You that this world is not our home and we have something to look forward to in heaven. We ask that you grace us to do good to all men and to especially share with those in need. We pray that You will grant us the grace and humility to honor our spiritual leaders, to respect them, to pray for them so that they work might be less difficult not more. We pray for a clear conscience so that we may be able to stand against this barrage of lies that is bombarding us. We ask You to equip us with everything we need to do your will and that You working through the Holy Spirit in us, lead us to do every good thing that pleases You. All glory and praise to our LORD Jesus Christ; in His matchless name we pray. Amen!

Thanksgiving For God’s Generosity

Father, thank You for Your infinite benevolence. Remind me often that you give exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask for or even imagine. Help me to extend and express this same spirit of generosity to others so that they may know You and rejoice in Your infinite kindness.
