Prayer For Mercy

God of our fathers, LORD of all creation. You spoke everything into being by the power of Your word. You created us to have dominion over all the earth but we sinned and fell short of our intended purpose. Father, we pray for mercy for without it we cannot survive in a fallen world. We depend upon Your mercies daily, they are as vital as the sun itself. We ask for wisdom rather than wealth. Without wisdom we cannot know Your will; if we don’t know Your will, we cannot find your way. Wisdom is more precious than gold. Wisdom leads to right choices and right choices lead to the abundant life that Jesus talked about in John 10. Wealth without wisdom will lead to pride and pride will lead to a fall. Deliver us from pride and lead us in the right paths for the glory and honor of Christ our LORD and Savior.

Thanksgiving For Revelation

Father, You are good, infinitely good and there is nothing good in me. I am convinced beyond any doubt that I need Jesus. He is my Hope and my salvation. He is the only One who can forgive my sins and heal my diseases. I recognize that sin is in my heart and has been since my birth. I have the inclination to be selfish. Sin is always crouching at my door and I am constantly tempted to do what I want rather than what is best for others or that which brings honor to you. My default setting is negative and selfish. I need to be saved from my sin and from my self. I understand why Jesus had to die on a cross. I know that He died because of my sin. I feel the guilt of Calvary; I was there, no doubt about it. I have counted the cost of following Christ and I choose the reproach of Christ over the riches of this world or an eternity of regret in hell. I confess Christ as my LORD and Savior. He is my sovereign and my salvation. Father, I will that you change my life in any way that You see fit, chip away at all that does not resemble Your Son. Execute my self life and make me dead to the world and to sin so that I can be alive to Christ. My outer man is decaying day by day but my inner man has a greater spiritual appetite than ever before. I love Your word, I love to converse with You, I love gathering with the saints for worship, I love the preaching and teaching of your word. The things of this world do not satisfy me but Your word has substance; it is the bread of life. Thank You Father that you have not hid these things from us but have revealed them clearly in your word. We give you thanks in Jesus name. Amen!

My Hope Prayer

Father, I am ready in heart and soul to sing songs of praise but a good revival would help. A spiritual wake up to the soul would be refreshing. I think I have the will and the courage to do a world concert but I lack the voice and the opportunity so I will sing to You. It’s Your voice that the world needs to hear and Your faithfulness that they need to recognize. LORD, You are as faithful as the day is long and as the sky is high. My prayer is that you will manifest Your presence and power is some unique way so that this evil world system will be forced to acknowledge that You are God the Eternal One. Father our hope and our victory is in JESUS. He will reward as He sees fit on that grand and glorious day of His return. We will be whatever He decrees and we will do whatever He commands. Right now we have a job to do, a battle to be fought and we need Your help. LORD of the harvest, call more laborers into My Hope, we could use more help but our trust is not in human help. Mankind cannot save us. Only You can convict of sin. Only You can cleanse and forgive sin. Only You can transform lives and give peace, joy and victory. LORD, You are my strength, my song, my salvation and My Hope.

Cain and Abel

Father, honest men put their trust in Thee. Wise men boast only in Christ and His redemptive work and put no confidence in the flesh. People conspire against You and Your people. They say and do things with malicious intent to hurt the cause of Christ. They stay up late at night hatching their diabolical plans. They think that they are working in secret. They are unaware that you watch everything they do and monitor every thought they think. It does not matter how deep their thoughts of treason go, you see them like a picture on a screen. These people are filled with scorn and contempt; they are driven by anger but they do not understand what is motivating them. In their effort to accomplish their will, they do like the ancient Pharaoh and fight against Your will. Like Pharaoh of old, their foolish pride injures not only themselves but all who surround them. They offer you some of their time and money as though it was a sacrifice and it never dawns on them that what you require is not a part of their life, but their death. They don’t understand that You do not negotiate, You terminate. By the power of grace Divine, set my heart on Your will and let it be mine. In Jesus name I pray. Amen!

Ezekiel Nine Prayer Of Repentance

O Sovereign LORD–will your righteous indignation consume America? Some are saying that You have forsaken us. Some are praying for You to damn America for her sins. Others refuse to acknowledge You altogether, they act as if You do not exist. We know that our sins are very great. We confess that the entire country is filled with a spirit of murder and death. We continue to kill the most innocent members of our society, the unborn and no one seems to think that we will be held accountable. We have no conviction of justice and there is no fear of You in the land. We are sowing a bitter harvest and we will reap in due time. We have no one to blame other than ourselves; our twisted thinking and our rebellion against You will be our undoing. Father, You are righteous in Your judgments and just in all Your ways. Please forgive our sins and heal our land. O God we need Revival. Send a great awakening to America or else we will be crushed by our own iniquity.

“My Hope” Prayer

 

Father, I believe that many Americans and others around the world share the sentiment of Job who in despair cried out, “Where is MY HOPE, can anyone find it?” Job felt that his hope had been uprooted like a tree and I think many are inclined to agree. Father, You are the God of my eternal salvation and MY HOPE is in YOU. I take shelter in the integrity of Jesus. I do believe that He is the ultimate promise keeper and MY HOPE is in His word. I join king David in his confession of hope… “Where is MY HOPE, MY HOPE is in God. When I am discouraged and my heart is sad, I put MY HOPE in God.” Father like David of old, I wait quietly before YOU for MY HOPE is in Jesus Christ Your Son and my Savior. Jesus and Jesus alone is MY HOPE. May all who fear You join me in praising Jesus for His infinite goodness. MY HOPE Father is in Your word, Your Spirit and Your Son. Since childhood, MY HOPE has been in You and MY HOPE shall always be in You. I continue to look to YOU for salvation. Jesus Christ is the only hope for America. Have mercy on us O God and send REVIVAL. May we honor You by exalting the name of Jesus and it is in that perfect name that we pray. Amen!

Prayer of Repentance and Contrition

LORD God almighty, we know that you have the power to save–You are not impotent. We know that you can hear us when we pray. Our problem is not that  you cannot hear or save us; our problem is our sin. We growl like an angry bear and moan like a sick dove but we are our own worse enemy. It is our sins that have separated us. Our hands are covered with the blood of the innocent unborn. We not only tell lies, we teach them in our class rooms of higher education. We have become totally untrustworthy, we cannot be trusted. We create chaos, we produce pain, we hatch evil, run to evil and do evil. Our sin is causing massive destruction to our culture and country but we don’t seem to care. We are destroying the future of our children and our children’s children. We do not know the way of peace and we refuse to acknowledge it’s Prince. Justice stands at a distance–truth has fallen like a soldier in battle–Goodness is not recognized or appreciated. We hope for light but all we see is more darkness. Our own sins testify against us. We know we are guilty and we know that we have sinned. The only plea that we can make is for MERCY. LORD God have mercy on us; forgive our sins and heal our land. In Jesus name we pray. Amen!
